Vincent Moon is an independent French filmmaker and sound explorer. For over twenty years now, he lives as a nomad, traveling the world with a camera on his back, documenting territorial music, sacred sounds, trance ceremonies and experimental practices, for his Collection Petites Planètes, always publishing the material (over 1300 films to date) under open source licenses on the web.

In search of new forms of ceremonies, “Vincent Moon’s Live Cinéma” is an optical ritual, an infinite search for contemporary trance, and an intense improvised a/v performance based on his entire research into musical and magical practices around the world.
